Terms of Service — Renterah

Preamble

These Terms of Service (hereafter "Terms") govern access to and use of the Renterah application, accessible at renterah.ai (hereafter "the Service"), published by ZEGUILD.

By creating an account on Renterah, you accept these Terms in full and without reservation. If you do not accept all or part of these conditions, you must refrain from using the Service.

Renterah is a decision-support tool designed to identify potential indicators of scam in rental listings.

Article 1 — Service publisher

The Renterah Service is published and operated by:

Hereafter "Renterah" or "we".

Article 2 — Definitions

• "Service": the Renterah web application accessible at renterah.ai.
• "User": any adult natural person who has created an account.
• "Account": the User's personal space created via Google Sign-In.
• "Credit": virtual unit consumed to trigger an analysis.
• "Analysis" or "Scan": the automated process producing a report.
• "Report": the structured result of an Analysis.
• "Listing": a rental property posting submitted by the User.

Article 3 — Description of the Service

3.1 Nature of the Service

Renterah provides automated analysis of rental listings posted on publicly accessible platforms.

3.2 Key limits of the Service

The User expressly acknowledges and accepts that:

• No Analysis can guarantee with absolute certainty that a listing is authentic or fraudulent.
• Results rely on external data sources whose accuracy may vary.
• Some sophisticated scams may show no detectable signal.
• The score and verdict do not constitute legal advice.

The final decision to pursue a rental process remains exclusively yours.

Article 4 — Conditions of access to the Service

4.1 Eligibility

Use of the Service is strictly reserved for adult natural persons (18 years or older).

4.2 Account creation

Account creation is done exclusively via Google Sign-In.

4.3 Account security

The User is solely responsible for the security of their Google account associated with Renterah.

Article 5 — Credits and payment

5.1 Credit system

The Service operates on a credit system. Each Analysis consumes one (1) credit.

5.2 Credit consumption

A credit is only consumed if the Analysis produces a Report.

5.3 Payment

Payments are processed by our provider Stripe. Renterah does not collect any banking data.

5.4 Right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to credits already consumed. Unconsumed credits may be refunded within 14 days upon request.

5.5 Credit validity

Purchased credits are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of acquisition.

Article 6 — User obligations

6.1 Permitted uses

• Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Submit exclusively URLs of publicly accessible listings.
• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Respect third-party rights.

6.2 Prohibited uses

• Use the Service for illegal, malicious, or fraudulent purposes.
• Submit URLs that are not rental listings.
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
• Perform automated scraping.
• Use the Service to harass or harm a person.
• Republish, resell, or commercially exploit Reports without authorization.
• Create multiple Accounts to bypass limitations.

Article 7 — Intellectual property

7.1 Renterah's rights

All elements making up the Service are the exclusive property of ZEGUILD or licensed for its benefit.

7.2 User rights on Reports

You have a non-exclusive personal right of use over Reports generated via your Account.

7.3 User-submitted content

URLs and information you submit remain your responsibility.

Article 8 — Service availability

Renterah strives to ensure 24/7 availability of the Service, without however guaranteeing uninterrupted availability.

Article 9 — Liability

9.1 Renterah's liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Renterah's total aggregate liability is limited to the amount of credits purchased by the User during the twelve (12) preceding months.

9.2 User liability

The User is solely responsible for their use of the Service.

Article 10 — Personal data

Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Article 11 — Suspension and termination

11.1 Termination by the User

You may delete your Account at any time.

11.2 Suspension or termination by Renterah

Renterah reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Account in case of serious breach of these Terms.

Article 12 — Changes to the Terms

Renterah reserves the right to modify these Terms. In case of substantial modification, you will be informed at least thirty (30) days before they take effect.

Article 13 — Mediation and dispute resolution

In case of dispute, the User agrees to contact Renterah at contact@renterah.ai. Failing amicable resolution, any dispute will be submitted to the competent French courts.

Article 14 — Final provisions

These Terms are governed by French law.
